Apr. 12, 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.— MEECS Energy Resources Educator’s Workshop. The ENERGY RESOURCES Curriculum unit includes hands-on activities to learn about Michigan’s energy use and sources, how electricity is generated, renewable and non-renewable energy resources, energy conservation and efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Apr. 26, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.— Spring Family Fun Day. Come celebrate Earth Day with 4-H families as we hike the trails, learning about Michigan’s flora and fauna in the spring. All instruction, equipment and lunch are included in the $6.50 per person cost. RSVP by Apr. 18.
June 27-29 – Women's Wellness Weekend. Treat yourself or someone you know to a weekend of relaxation and renewal. The Women’s Wellness Weekend features keynote speakers, concurrent sessions and program activities that address methods for dealing with stress, healthy cooking, physical fitness, outdoor recreation, and opportunities to just have fun, relax and feel pampered! Register by June 16, 2008.
