October 7-12, 2007— Capture the Fall Beauty of Northern Michigan through Watercolors, Explore Forest Ecology with Outdoor Hiking and Photography and Tai Chi Chuan – An Ancient Art of Wellness
Enjoy watercolor painting instruction for the beginner and experienced with a well-known artist, photographer and naturalist. Learn about the local flora, fauna and seasonal changes through daily interpretive hikes. Learn to take reference photographs for use in your watercolor painting. Experience Tai Chi Chuan, an ancient art of wellness teaching movements to reduce stress and improve health.

November 4-7, 2007 — Geocaching: High Tech Hide-And-Seek, A Sport for the 21st Century
Geocaching integrates the high technology of computers and hand-held electronic equipment with being outdoors. Learn how a GPS (Global Positioning System) works, how to use a handheld GPS unit, explore th enew sport of Geocaching information from the and and learn about how professionals use GPS and GIS technology. Also, learn how Nordic walking can increase your aerobic workout by 40%!

January 20-25, 2008 — Michigan Winter Outdoor Classics: Skiing, Snowshoeing, Dog Sledding
Enjoy a Northern Michigan winter by cross-country skiing, snoeshoeing, dog sledding and stuyding ecology. All skill levels can take advantage of five hours of quality instruction to learn traditional skiing and snowshoeing techniques.

May 4-7, 2008 — Stalking the Illusive Morel and Other Natural Encounters
Learn to kayak on an inland lake, identify and enjoy spring wildflowers, forage edible morel mushrooms and go “birding” in Northern Michigan’s majestic forests.

June 22-27, 2008— Intergenerational Program, Grandparents & Grandchildren: Fur, Fins and Feathers
